  1. The culture medium and K2Cr2O7 were negative and positive controls, respectively. Use a fluorescent microscope with a photographic system (eyepiece 10 × , Objective lens 20 × , Green light excitation absorption filter 590 nm) to obtain the images of comet cells, as shown in the "Typical Images". 100 random cells in each group were analyzed using Comet Assay IV™ software. All values are expressed as the mean ± SD. One-way ANOVA was used in the case of homoscedasticity, and the Brown–Forsythe test or Welch’s test was used in the case of heteroscedasticity for statistical analysis comparing with the control group. Significance was determined at p < 0.001*** and p < 0.01**
