The Shapiro–Wilk test was used to assess normality, and Bartlett’s test was used to assess homogeneity of variance. Dunnett’s test was used in the case of homoscedasticity and a normal distribution, and the Wilcoxon rank–sum test was used in the case of heteroscedasticity or a skewed distribution for statistical analysis comparing with the control group. Significance was determined at p < 0.001***, p < 0.01** and p < 0.05*
